These street lights

Blind us ever so

Just to realize

How your skin glows

Underneath these stars

Like fireflies

Trapped in mason jars

In dark blue skies

I watch your perfection

In hopes to memorize

This connection

Just to revise

What we once had.

My first real kiss was underneath warm african stars, with cool breeze sweeping through my soul. I could hear his thoughts almost like a dream, faint and hard to remember. He had the complexion of forgiveness, and the voice of sweet midnight symphonies. So I felt his beard, and let chemistry take a hold of our emotions.
