Intergalactic, yet close

Each light protrudes

Brightening dark holes

and stealing ones soul

Bright dots reflects

On children’s eyes

In the darkened sky

They chase fireflies

Reaching for those

Forbidden to hands

Merely dust

Particles of sand

Trace small lines

Quickly,

Before the sun spies.

Stars cannot shine

Without a darkened sky.

I have thing for stars. They always invoke strong feelings of fascination in me. I hope to one day explore the vast universe beyond our world.

The mind of a frantic poet. The ambition of an entrepreneur. And lastly, the heart of an old soul.
