Thick, red, warm

The blood flowed

Down his arm.

 

Eyes fading slowly

As life leaves

Her supple body.

 

Pupils over dilated

Like his desires

Of her body naked.

 

Stripped of essence-

No.

Beaten by hatred.

 

The only victim

Was afflicted by

racism.

 

Only if one knew,

Her murder was

self inflicted.
